Buisness:
Meeting was called to order by President Barry Eckert at 12:30 p.m. Introductions were made by the attendees.
Minutes were distributed of the March 2010 and July 2010 meetings.
Greg Frazer, Treasurer distributed the Treasurer’s Report which was approved as distributed.
President Eckert's Report:
Website has been updated with changes made. Members were encouraged to check for accurate information on the site.
Attendance at the Summer 2010 meeting in Chicago was 18. Topics covered were Compensation/Cost of Clinical Education, Financial Aid, Creative Budgeting, International Education and Faculty Workload.
Summer 2011 Meeting location and dates were presented. After checking with the NERDs the decision to meet in New York, July 18-19, 2011 was approved. Lodging arrangements will probably be at the Midtown Club Quarters.
Interest in serving on the summer meeting program planning committee should be emailed to Barry. The committee will meet at the Spring 2011 ASAHP meeting to plan the program.
Other Business:
General discussion was given to increasing membership.
Discussion in support of the ASAHP Student Scholarship was followed by a motion to make a $2000 donation. Susan Hanrahan made the motion with a Second by Yasmin Simonian. Motion passed. Treasurer Greg Frazer will send the check to ASAHP.
