Business:

The inaugural meeting of the merged NERDs with the COHD meeting was called to order at 7:48 a.m. by Vice-President Susan Hanrahan. Attendees provided introductions.

Minutes of the October 24, 2015 meeting were reviewed and approved.

Treasurer, Greg Frazer distributed the Treasurer’s Report. The report was reviewed and accepted. It was approved to support the ASAHP Scholarship Fund with a $2000 donation. Treasurer Frazer will send a check to ASAHP. Discussion was given to ideas to support PAC.

The summer COHD meeting will be in Boston on July 13-14, 2015. Leslie Partney will host the meeting at MGH Institute of Health Professions. Randy Leite and Cessarina Thompson volunteered to work with the program. Ideas for the program were suggested to include: Restructuring of Universities, Efficiency Models for Programs, Funding for Higher Education, Financial Aid Challenges.

Attendees were reminded to check the COHD website for their institution’s information and to update if needed.

A motion was made and approved to provide retiring dean, Dr. Hugh Bonner the traditional “chair”. Treasurer Frazer will make arrangements.

Ideas to have an auction at the ASAHP fall meeting were discussed as something ASAHP should consider.
